Congress venue

University of Münster

The Congress takes place in the main building of the university (Schloss) and various university buildings in the city centre of Münster.

The sessions will be held at the following locations:

  • Schloss, Schlossplatz 2 (bus stop Landgericht or Schlossplatz)
  • Hörsaalgebäude H1 (Plenary), Schlossplatz 46 (bus stop Landgericht or Schlossplatz)
  • Institut für Germanistik, Schlossplatz 34 (bus stop Landgericht or Schlossplatz)

Due to the central location of the Congress venues, all buildings are within walking distance and can be reached easily via public transportation.

 

The Congress office and Info Desk are situated in the Schloss building (Schlossplatz 2, bus stop Landgericht or Schlossplatz)

The staff at the Congress office will be identifiable by colored t-shirts and name tags. Please contact them if you have any questions.

Do not hesitate to inquire about all necessary information concerning the Congress, orientation in Münster, accommodation, restaurants, going out, and cultural events at the information desk.

The Schloss is the landmark and administration of the university of Münster.

 

 

Once you sign in at the Congress office you will receive a free city bus ticket, valid from 15 to 20 July, the login-password for using WiFi at the university, the Congress ticket (receipt for Congress fee), the programme and your name tag.

Sufficient parking space during the Congress is offered by the commercial parking lot Schlossplatz.

Internet

When signing in for the congress you will receive a Guest Access to the university network with your registration in the Congress.

The University of Münster is a member of the Eduroam union. Users from eduroam institutions, who have registered for eduroam, can use the wireless internet without local registration.


Lost and found property

You can hand in and pick up lost and found property at the information desk.
